Christine Reimer has painted professionally for nearly
thirty years. Her Canadian landscape interpretations are
characterized by use of strong vibrant colours. Her
original acrylic on canvas paintings are found in corporate
and private collections across North America and abroad.

In 2008, Chrisitne’s studio was totally rebuilt and
expanded. In this new workspace she created this series
of work, inspired in part by the profusion of flowers in
gardens surrounding the studio.

This exhibition contains larger abstract floral work and
smallerworks inspired by a variety of subjects. While
these are a departure from her well known landscapes, all
of these floral and abstract works continue to demonstrate
Christine’s bold palette and unique colour sense.

“This series has allowed me to reflect upon the joyful
colours in striking floral arrangements and in my garden.
As well, I have alternated between small and large scale,
and pushed some new boundaries by incorporating collage
elements I hope you will have as much fun with these as
I had in creating them” .
