Please note that we will not sell, loan or otherwise distribute our members’ mail and/or e-mail lists. They are for internal communication only.

• The WSAC acts as a clearinghouse for information pertaining to the arts.
• Inclusion in Arts Directory on our website – privacy laws require that we receive your permission to print your name on the website and you should make sure you fill this in on your membership form.
• Participation in Exhibitions, including our Art in the Library, Roaming Gallery and Studio Tour programs as well as Special Exhibitions and Performances.
• Receive notice of Call for Entries for open events being held around Vancouver Island
• Networking with other arts-minded individuals
• Voting privilege at yearly AGM
• Grants and Bursaries are available for WSAC members and groups in good standing.
• WSAC individual members and member groups may have their arts-related Website linked on our Members page for free if they provide reciprocal links from their site to the West Shore Arts Council site. Please fill out the appropriate section of the Membership form.
• While the benefits of a WSAC Group Membership help promote the collective interests of our community arts groups, WSAC groups are represented by one group member. Therefore, we also encourage the members within each Member Group to become individual WSAC members as this enables them to make their own voices count. An individual membership also ensures their access to the WSAC newsletter, ARTnews, and to all of the other benefits and privileges available to them as Individual members.

You can take out a membership in the West Shore Arts Council in two ways:

1. Fill out the on-line form - then mail your cheque with your full name and address to the office. (membership only starts when cheque is received)
2. Download the printable form, fill it out and mail it with your cheque to the office at:
